Pier Studios offers a range of courses to share Pier Productions 25 years in Radio Production

So You Want to be An Audio Drama Producer?

If you’ve ever toyed with the idea of making audio drama or using drama in your features then this will help you focus on what a drama producer actually does and the creative possibilities of drama.

There’ll be a chance to discuss a radio play in detail and quiz a sound designer.

This course will also be useful to anyone wanting to work with scripted non-audience audio comedy or for would be dramatists who are interested in the whole process of making audio drama.

Schools Drama Workshop

Our Schools Drama Workshop gives students a genuine hands on experience with a professional production team.

During one day at the studio in central Brighton, students will produce their own radio drama. In a group of up to ten, they will all have the opportunity to act and do the analogue sound effects.

They will be supported by a sound engineer and director.

A Play In A Day

Ever wanted to see you and your workforce have what it take to make some drama together?

We offer an opportunity for teams to try their hand at performing radio drama in the studios and with the directors who have created some of the UK's most prestigious radio drama including War and Peace which starred the late John Hurt and Simon Russell Beale.

At the end of the day you will walk away with a recording of the production complete with music and sound effects.
